STICK PARASOLS

A stick parasol is called this way because it has a parasol tube (pole) in the middle of the cloth, where the bales run towards. This pole can often be simply nodded by pressing a button so that the parasol cloth tilts. Handy in a sagging sun. The stick parasols can be folded back in and out by simply pushing the bales up. A so-called 'push-up system'. The parasol cloth ensures the tension that holds the parasol high. Then fold in the parasol by sliding it down.

CANTILEVER PARASOLS

A cantilever parasol gets its name from the frame that sits on the side of the parasol cloth, so that it looks like it is floating. These parasols are also called floating parasols or free hanging parasols. The biggest advantage of a cantilever parasol is that it often has many functions and capabilities that are not present with a stick parasol. It rotates 360 degrees on a parasol base, tilts sideways and tilt towards the frame. Because of these features, all the space below the parasol is there to use for a chair or even a complete garden set. The parasol base stands on the side. The parasol base is quite large and heavy due to these functions, unless you opt for a ground anchor.

For example, most 4 Seasons Outdoor stick parasols are adjustable in height and are tiltable. You fold it in quickly and easily and then put a handy protective cover around it. Our cantilever parasols are also super functional and manageable for everyone. A simple button or lever tilts the cloth into the correct position in an instant, or with a foot pedal you rotate the parasol without effort.

  3. Even if your parasol is not in use, it is present on your terrace. It is therefore good to think about the quality. We use high-quality materials, such as powder-coated aluminium for the frames and olefin or polyester for the parasol cloths. That's why our parasols can be outdoors all year round. However, we advise you to use a protective cover when the parasol is not in use, so that it does not damage or become dirty due to other factors. In order to enjoy your parasol for as long as possible, it is wise to keep your parasol dry with a protective cover.

  4. You don't buy a new parasol every year. Every 4 Seasons Outdoor parasol is made to enjoy for at least 5 years. That's why we make parasols with timeless designs that you won’t easily get bored with. Our parasols are made to make a lot of use of, which is why you can also order parts that are subject to wear and tear over time. A parasol cloth or a technical part is usually easy to replace. A protective cover for your parasol will need to be replaced (depending on the weather) once every 12 to 24 months.

Stokparasols

Een stokparasol heet zo omdat hij in het midden van het doek een parasolbuis (stok) heeft, waar de baleinen naartoe lopen. Deze stok kun je vaak simpel knikken door een knopje in te drukken zodat het parasoldoek kantelt. Handig bij een zakkende zon.

De stokparasols zijn meestal in- en uit te klappen door de baleinen simpelweg omhoog te duwen. Een zogeheten ‘push-up systeem’. Hierbij zorgt het parasoldoek voor de spanning die de parasol hooghoudt. Klap de parasol vervolgens in door dit naar beneden te schuiven.

Zweefparasols

Een zweefparasol dankt zijn naam aan het frame dat aan de zijkant van het parasoldoek zit, zodat het lijkt of deze zweeft. Deze parasols worden ook wel zwenkparasol of vrij hangende parasol genoemd.

Het grootste voordeel van een zweefparasol is dat deze vaak veel functies en mogelijkheden heeft die bij een stokparasol niet aanwezig zijn. Zoals het 360 graden draaien op een parasolvoet, zijwaarts kantelen en kantelen richting het frame. Door die functies is er alle ruimte onder de parasol voor een tuin set, en staat de parasolvoet aan de zijkant.

De parasolvoet is door deze functies wel vrij groot en zwaar, tenzij je kiest voor een grondanker.

DESIGN

We maken graag alleen maar mooie parasols. Designs, materialen en kleuren stemmen we naadloos op elkaar af met een resultaat waar we trots op zijn.

Zo zie je in onze collectie parasols geen ouderwetse voillants (de flappen aan een parasoldoek) terug maar juist strakke lijnen en eenvoudige onderdelen die vooral functioneel zijn. Want tijdens een warme zomer kijk je natuurlijk graag naar een mooie parasol op je terras.

PLEZIER

Onze parasols zijn niet alleen prachtig om te zien, je hebt er jarenlang plezier van. Iedere parasol is namelijk eenvoudig te bedienen zodat je snel en doeltreffend schaduw hebt op de gewenste plek.

De meeste 4 Seasons Outdoor stokparasols zijn bijvoorbeeld verstelbaar in hoogte en kantelbaar. Je klapt deze snel en makkelijk in om er vervolgens een handige beschermhoes omheen te doen.

Ook onze vrij hangende parasols zijn super functioneel en hanteerbaar voor iedereen. Door een simpele knop of hendel kantel je in een handomdraai het doek in de juiste positie, of met een voetpedaal draai je zonder inspanning de parasol rond.

ONDERHOUD

Ook als je parasol niet wordt gebruikt, staat deze vaak wel gewoon op je terras. Het is daarom goed om over de kwaliteit na te denken. Wij gebruiken materialen van hoogwaardige kwaliteit, zoals ge-poedercoat aluminium voor de frames en olefin of polyester voor de parasoldoeken.

Daarom kunnen onze parasols het hele jaar door gewoon buiten staan. Wel adviseren we om een beschermhoes te gebruiken wanneer de parasol niet in gebruik is, zodat deze niet kapot waait of vuil wordt door andere factoren. Om zo lang mogelijk van je parasol te kunnen blijven genieten is het verstandig om je parasol met beschermhoes droog op te bergen.

DUURZAAM

Een nieuwe parasol schaf je niet elk jaar aan. Iedere 4 Seasons Outdoor parasol is gemaakt om ten minste 5 jaar van te kunnen genieten. We maken daarom tijdloze parasols waar je niet snel op bent uitgekeken. Onze parasols zijn gemaakt om veel gebruik van te maken, daarom kun je na verloop van tijd ook onderdelen bestellen die aan slijtage onderhevig zijn.

VERVANGING

Een parasoldoek of een technisch onderdeel is meestal eenvoudig te vervangen. Een beschermhoes voor je parasol zal (afhankelijk van het weer) eens in de 12 tot 24 maanden vervangen moeten worden.
